Description

This was painted in a gorgeous apple orchard in Rinconada, New Mexico. This orchard sits right next to the Rio Grande River. There was an incredibly abundant harvest this fall. There were so many apples in this particular orchard that they were falling to the ground before they could all be picked and sent to market. As the apples lay on the ground in the sunshine it reminded me of apple sauce.
